Conner R. “Always do research before you buy or do something new so you don't blow your time
and money on something totally not worth it. Always take money or any other valuable items out of
your pockets before playing or doing any other wild or crazy activities.”
Zack B. “My advice to you is to only set one goal at a time because if you set more then one then
you will never get anything done. Such as one day I wanted to clean my room so I started doing that
but in the middle of that task I looked at how dirty all of my houses windows were and though I could
make a few bucks cleaning them so I started doing that and after one or two hours I had 15 different
tasks on my hands so then the next day I did one task and on the next day and every one after and
after about two weeks I was finished with all my tasks and had 40 extra bucks.”
Cameron L. “Before you try anything your bad at, try something your good at.”
Alex H. “My advice is when you get money you should ask your mom or dad what to do with it
because, one time I put some of my first communion money in the bank. About one month later and it
raised around 1.00. Then I was able to save up for something nice instead of a lot of little things.
That's why I say you should ask.”
Charlie M. ” My advice to make a lot of money would be that you should start early, start a little
business like a lemonade stand. When I was about 7 years old I had a lemonade stand in my front
yard and sold the lemonade for 10 cents and ended up getting a lot of customers but not a lot of
money, which is what I was looking for. So the next time I sold the lemonade for 25 cents and got a lot
more money.”
Mike H. “Don't carry loose change in your pocket while playing laser tag, because that is what
happened to me when I was on vacation in New York. I went in with about $20 in change and came
out with nothing. But of course I've learned from that I know now to put my money in a bank, a wallet,
or just leave it at home.”

Dr. Adrian Rogers (1931-2005) offered the following observation several years ago and it bears poignant significance today:
"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the rich out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
The government cannot give to anybody anything the government does not first take from somebody else.
When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply the wealth by dividing it."
