What about taxes?

One way to stop our economy in its tracks is in the form of regulation and taxes.
Here is what happens when we begin to over fine or over tax the upper ranks in our economy.

First they will begin to tighten their belts. Businesses will find a way to retain less employees, placing
more load on the ones with the jobs to compensate for the employees they had to either let go or
not hire.

With greater restrictions, fewer people work. More people become dependant on unemployment
and welfare. This creates more strain on those working and on companies to support the
government type programs.

Spending will decrease. Again this causes companies to trim back again.

It is the companies, whether large or small, that create jobs. With greater freedom new innovations
will come forward. Our economy will prosper.

At this time, we should not be worried about who we can fine - those fines will trickle down to the end
consumer (this is also how positive cash flow works - it benefits from the top down). We should not
touch the tax system unless it looks something like this:
250,000+ tax at a flat rate of 25%
249,000- tax at a flat rate of 15% - EVERYONE should pay this rate.

No more programs should be introduced to the government. And each year programs should be
gradually decreased.

Small businesses should be encouraged to form and grow. As it stands now, everyone from the very
local level to the federal level governments and agencies have their hand out with fees. This is not
helping to create jobs. This is causing the small business to think twice about starting and about
growing. They cannot get ahead no matter which way they look.

Let's hope someone begins to understand this and implements ideas such as these.... Because
when they do just watch our economy take off!!
Dr. Adrian Rogers (1931-2005) offered the following observation
several years ago and it bears poignant significance today:

"You cannot legislate the poor into
freedom by legislating the rich out of
freedom. What one person receives
without working for, another person must
work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody
anything the government does not first
take from somebody else.

When half of the people get the idea that
they do not have to work because the
other half is going to take care of them,
and when the other half gets the idea that
it does no good to work because
somebody else is going to get what they
work for, that my dear friend is about the
end of any nation. You cannot multiply the
wealth by dividing it."
